Why This Model Works

Built to align our incentives and protect your runway

Incentive alignment

I deliver the highest-value work first, because shipping early lets you cancel early.

Risk control

You avoid long lock-ins and bloated backlogs.

Cash-flow friendly

You fund only what moves the needle, not idle burn.

Compare Your Options

For context, €5k per month is roughly the cost of a single junior developer's salary – yet here it covers an entire design and development service.

Zebra Design

~€5k/month

Designer + Developer in one

  • Fast iterations
  • Cancel anytime
  • No hiring hassle
  • Weekly progress

Hire In-House

€15-20k/month

Designer + Developer + overhead

  • Full-time dedication
  • Long-term commitment
  • Training required
  • Management overhead

Traditional Agency

€20k-€40k/mo retainer

Headline fee balloons with change-orders and slower turn-around

  • Large team
  • Fixed timeline
  • Communication layers
  • Change order costs

The math is simple: You get a full product team's output for a quarter of the cost, with none of the overhead.

Why Our Process Is Faster & Smarter

Integrated design, development, and real-time collaboration slash weeks of back-and-forth.

Design & Code, Unified

One person designs and builds – no handovers, no mismatched specs, maximum efficiency.

Your Expertise, Baked In

We co-create with you, the domain expert, so feedback happens live, not in slow email threads.

Rapid User Testing

Prototype → test → iterate in days. We validate early so we only build what users need.

Value Upfront, No Bloat

Incentives are aligned to ship the highest-impact features first, not pad billable hours.

Pay for Results, Not Hours

I focus on the outcomes that matter—launch date, conversion lift, churn drop—and your fee covers whatever it takes. No timesheets, no surprise invoices. Progress is the only metric.

Value-Based Agile Pricing – Four Sample Scenarios

I price at roughly 20% of the value I expect to add in the first two years.
Minimum €5k/month.

2-Year Value CreatedMy Annual Fee (≈ 20 %)Monthly SubscriptionTypical ROI*
€300 k saved/earned€60 k≈ €5 k / moPays back in 3–4 mths
€500 k€100 k≈ €8 k / mo2× return inside a year
€750 k€150 k≈ €12.5 k / mo5×+ lifetime ROI
€1 M€200 k≈ €17 k / moScales with your growth

*ROI assumes the value continues beyond our one-year engagement.

Examples of how I calculate the value

Customer onboarding automation: I save your team costs by creating an application for onboarding your customers: it frees up 10% of team time and increases revenue by 20% — €300k value over two years.

Development team replacement: I take a workflow out of your development team's hands (one PM, one designer and two developers)costing €420k over a year.

Usage Add-Ons

Month one includes up to five workshop days, on me. After that:

ServiceWhyCost
Extra Workshop DayDeep-dive with your team€400 / day
Ad-hoc CallsExtra Zooms you request€150 / hour
User-Testing Round5-6 users, report + results workshop€1,000 / round

I'll suggest these only when they speed us up. If they do, I pay; if you ask, you pay.

Money-for-Nothing, Change-for-Free

Why my contracts stay light, fair, and agile

  1. Short, outcome-driven cycles
I work in month-long sprints. At the start of each cycle we pick the next, highest-value goal—launch a feature, lift conversions, cut churn. Then I build that first.
  2. Change course any time
Your priorities shift? Fine. At the next cycle we pivot, swap features, or narrow scope. There is no penalty for changing your mind.
  3. Cancel when you're satisfied
Our standard engagement is one year. If the product is "good enough" before the year is up, stop the engagement on the spot. You pay only 20 % of the unused balance—my wrap-up fee for handing over code, designs, and docs. For example: 3 months in with 9 months remaining, you pay 20% of the remaining 9 months.
  4. Built-in breathing space
Need to pause? You may park the project twice, up to one month each time, at no cost. Your subscription clock simply stops and restarts.

Example

  • Plan: €5 k / month for 12 months → €60 k total
  • You stop after 3 months (paid €15 k)
  • Remaining commitment: €45 k
  • Wrap-up fee: 20 % × €45 k = €9 k

Total paid: €24 k instead of €60 k. You keep every asset, I'm fairly compensated, no money is wasted.

Why this model works

  • Incentive alignment – I deliver the highest-value work first, because shipping early lets you cancel early.
  • Risk control – You avoid long lock-ins and bloated backlogs.
  • Cash-flow friendly – You fund only what moves the needle, not idle burn.

Inspired by the agile "Money for Nothing, Change for Free" clause, this setup rewards speed and value, not head-count or hours.

Bottom Line

Try me for a month. If the work isn't paying for itself, walk away—with every asset delivered and only a fair wrap-up fee (20% of the remaining balance on our one-year engagement). No lock-in, just results.
Bottom line: I stay hungry to deliver; you never fund dead weight.
